This NOFO is for STEM education programs and activities vital to the Department of the Navy, which is formal or informal education that is primarily focused on physical and natural sciences, technology, engineering, social sciences, and mathematics disciplines. This NOFO will not consider applications for research, with the exception of those whose primary purpose is intended to further education and that are not expected to generate intellectual property.

The DLT Program provides financial assistance to enable and improve distance learning and telemedicine services in rural areas. DLT grant funds support the use of telecommunications-enabled information, audio and video equipment, and related advanced technologies by students, teachers, medical professionals, and rural residents. These grants are intended to increase rural access to education, training, and healthcare resources that are otherwise unavailable or limited in scope. All applicants should carefully review and prepare their applications according to instructions in the FY 2025 DLT Grant Program Application Guide (Application Guide) and program resources. Expenses incurred in developing applications will be at the applicant’s own risk.

The FAA is investing in the future aviation workforce. We are providing grants to academia and the aviation community to help prepare a more inclusive talent pool of pilots and aviation maintenance technicians, to inspire and recruit the next generation of aviation professionals.

NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) delivers tools for young Americans and educators to learn and succeed.

OSTEM seeks to:

Create unique opportunities for students and the public to contribute to NASA’s work in exploration and discovery,
Build a diverse future STEM workforce by engaging students in authentic learning experiences with NASA people, content, and facilities, and
Strengthen public understanding by enabling powerful connections to NASA’s mission and work 

Since 2015 the Rural Schools Collaborative and its Grants in Place partners have awarded over $700,000 in place-based education grants to innovative rural teacher leaders. Rural Schools Collaborative's Grants in Place program consists of two primary components: RSC's Grants in Place Fellows program, which was reorganized in 2019, and the National Signature Project Award in collaboration with the National Rural Education Association. The Fellows program is limited to teachers who teach in public schools that are located in the geographic regions of RSC's Regional Hubs, and the National Signature Project Award is open to any rural public school teacher in the United States of America.

We provide grants for Rural Technology Education projects and Assistive Technology projects. We review and award grants every 30-60 days, and there are no specific deadlines for applying. We currently only provide grants to schools and organizations operating in the United States.

The U.S. Department of the Army Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (Army STEM), under its Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) and 10 U.S. Code 2192, seeks to enter into a cooperative agreement with a Consortium of like-minded organizations (herein “Consortium Members”) to provide a continuum of meaningful STEM learning experiences for students and educators through effective STEM education and outreach programs.
